Join us at UCLA’s Wallis Annenberg Stadium during the first weekend in May a weekend of traditional dancing, music, and cultural celebration at the Annual UCLA Pow Wow.
The UCLA Pow Wow is a cherished annual event that brings together Native American communities and the public to celebrate indigenous culture, traditions, and heritage. Hosted by the American Indian Student Association (AISA), this two-day gathering features:
Traditional Dances: Witness captivating performances, including gourd dances and grand entries, showcasing the rich tapestry of Native American dance forms.
Music and Drumming: Experience the rhythmic beats of host drums Sharp Shooter and Hale & Company, providing the heartbeat of the Pow Wow.
Cultural Exhibits: Explore booths offering Native American arts, crafts, and cuisine, providing a glimpse into the diverse cultures and traditions.
Community Engagement: Engage with community members, learn about indigenous issues, and participate in a space that honors and respects Native American heritage.
