Floral City Strawberry Festival

Annual Weekend Festival in March | Saturday 9:am to 5:pm | Sunday – 9:am. to 4:pm.

Floral Cities annual weekend event is family favorite and celebrates the local growers and farmers harvest of fresh strawberries hand-picked just around the corner from the festival at Ferris Groves. Luscious and delicious strawberry shortcakes and fresh strawberry pies will be available for everyone to enjoy, along with flats and half-flats of whole fresh berries that you can take home with you as a sweet souvenir of your day. Then make your own delectable strawberry treats. The famous Pie Eating Contests are scheduled for 1:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday for adults along with special contests for the little ones. Each participant will have one minute to eat a strawberry and whip cream pie without using any hands. The winner of each age group, both days, will receive a Floral City Strawberry Festival Pie Eating Champion plaque.

Arts and Crafts Marketplace includes over 200 Vendors

Round out your festival adventures by strolling in Floral Park and browsing through over 200 art, craft, and marketplace vendors. Indulge in a cold beer, glass of wine, or hard seltzer at the beer garden near the main stage. Enjoy the gastronomic pleasures offered by the many food vendors and enjoy laughs and smiles with the young ones as they “play themselves silly” in the kids’ area.

Floral City Strawberry Festival hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.  The entrance fee is $5.00 for adults, and children 12 and under are free.  Park free at the Citrus County Auditorium on Saturday and the Citrus County Speedway on Sunday and take a shuttle to the festival location.
