Step back in time and take a journey to the medieval times through performances at the Florida Renaissance Festival. Experience the enthusiasm of Hundreds of Performers, not only on the twelve stages but literally all around you. Sword fighters, minstrels, magicians, wenches and more. For all the world’s a stage. Cheer Battling Knights, as they mount their steeds, lower their visors, aim their lances and charge at full tilt, thrice daily. Play Games of Chance and games of skill which challenge both young and old alike – Hip! Hip! Huzzah!…archery, the test of strength, Jacob’s Ladder and more.
The Florida Renaissance Festival crafts Village offers something for the whole family with over one hundred merchants and artisans who demonstrate and sell their wares. Behold glass blowing, hammered pewter, wooden toys, unique pottery, clothing and a wealth of other riches. Feast on Hearty Food fit for a King! Visit the Pub and toast to the Royal Court with a tankard of ale or cider. Enjoy pirate shows, a live joust, knife throwing, delicious food and Pirates kick off unique theme themed weekends including the Time Travelers, Voyage to the Orient, and Dragons & Wizards and Thrones underway at Florida Renaissance Festival.
The Florida Renaissance Festival began over 31 years ago as a two-day event and has grown to encompass 8 consecutive, Individually-Themed Weekends at Quiet Waters Park, featuring:
* Knights Jousting on Noble Steeds, dramatic Sword Fighting, and exciting Tournament Games
in the Tradition of the Day, executed by Internationally- recognized professional performers
- Birds of Prey Show – magnificent raptors in Full-flight Demonstrations by a Master Falconer

- Historical and Educational Demonstrations, ongoing throughout the day
- Hundreds of brilliantly costumed Performers provide Atmosphere and Authenticity to the Festival
