Hollywood’s elite flock to Santa Barbara to celebrate some of the best filmmakers and cinematic talent in the world. Each year, the Santa Barbara International Film Festival takes place at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara.

The Santa Barbara International Film Festival honors great filmmakers, actors, and actresses with awards including the Cinema Vanguard Award, Outstanding Performer of the Year Award, and Modern Master Award. The festival also offers panel discussions with directors, producers, and writers. Past winners of the Cinema Vanguard Award include stars like Amy Adams, Peter Sarsgaard, Ryan Gosling, Nicole Kidman, and Stanley Tucci. Past winners of the Outstanding Performer of the Year Award include icons like Jennifer Lawrence and past winners of the Modern Master Award include living legends like Ben Affleck
