Celebrate together with friends and family at the Carnaval festival in San Francisco’s Mission District where they will showcase the very best Latin American and Caribbean cultural arts and traditions. The annual FREE 2–day family festival features five main stages, 50 local performing artists, and 400 vendors. The festival also includes international food, dancing, sampling sites and entertainment for families, couples and friends of all ethnic, social and economic backgrounds. The Grand Parade on Sunday, the largest multi–cultural celebration on the West Coast.
The festival begins Saturday, May 25 starting at 11:00 am, where Alaska Airlines in partnership with Skate Like A Girl, will host a free skate clinic for kids & families. Then on Sunday, May 26 come enjoy the Carnaval SF Parade festivities as the floats make their way throughout the Mission District – Covering about 17 blocks in the Mission District in San Francisco on Harrison Street between 17th Street & 24th Street.
