First prize $75.00. All media are welcome and the productions from previous winners is on display at Hellada Art Center.
Every Sunday at 3 pm in 2014, Hellada Art Center will host free 45-minute lectures open to anyone, to all ages, and to all levels of interest in art. Everyone is invited to bring your loved ones, friends and family to learn about basics in art knowledge.
The idea of these classes was born as a collaborative effort of several local Long Beach artists to share fundamental information about art.
The lecture touches on early civilizations, ancient Hellas philosophies, and contemporary dilemmas of the creative mind. We will explore relationships between Art, Science, Knowledge and Philosophy.
