The annual Sawdust Art Festival’s continue to inspire attendees to meet together and create during the Summer and Winter Arts and Craft shows and classes. Every year, the festival features the fine art and crafts of over 200 Laguna Beach and Southern California artists, sculptures, craft builders, and musicians with three (3) stages of live music, complimentary art classes, glassblowing, art demonstrations and a variety of outdoor dining and saloon offerings- set in a unique artist village in the heart of Laguna Beach.This event is fun go do that is sure to be the highlight of your summer and winter adventures.
The Laguna Beach Sawdust Art Festival involves Art enthusiasts, collectors, and novice artists have come to the Sawdust since our beginning in 1966 for our mix of fine art and craft. Media include hand-blown and fused glass, painting, jewelry, surf art, ceramics, clothing and textiles, wood and metal sculpture, scrimshaw, photography, and so much more. And, the festival artists are eager to share their creative process with you so please feel free to ask our exhibitors questions, take an art workshop, and enjoy our live art demonstrations.
Free Summer Festival Art and Craft Classes (workshops and classes are complimentary with the price of festival admission). The classes cover many exciting art and mix mediums that teach artistic methods of Landscape Painting, Pottery, Watercolors, Wax Crayon, Paper Garlands, Starry Night Painting, Yarn Yard Animals, Natural Flower Drying, Tidepool Sand Art and more. The free Classes are first come, first served. For pottery, please sign up at the Ceramics Studio as spaces fill up early.
